Whispers in the Dark

Being a teenager is hard enough without finding out you’re a witch princess betrothed to a hot guy. And the icing to top the “freak-me-out” cake; the blood that runs through your veins is the key to bringing back an army of darkness. Who could you trust when the people you trusted the most live a complete lie?

Sara is not a normal teenager despite what she has been led to believe her whole life. She is the sole survivor of a fire that killed her entire family and lives with her grandparents. With only a single best friend as company and working at her elderly grandparents’ bed & breakfast, she has accepted that this is her life.

The people she’s known all her life are not the people who she thought they were. The truth starts to unravel as she finds out that the people she trusts the most were sent there to protect her. But now that people know Sara’s actually alive and well, she is not safe.

Sara has now found out that the things that go bump in the night are real and scarier than she imagined. Now, the fate of two worlds just might rest in her hands and more people want her dead than alive. Sara has the opportunity to lead the people that protect her. If she doesn’t choose quickly, the people fighting to keep her alive might just decide that letting her live is too dangerous.

The Word No

I am really impressed by some agents. They can make the word no sound really nice. It makes you see the difference between someone who likes their job and who really doesn't seem to. Getting rude or badly worded rejections just make you feel like crap. If you can be nice, do it. It's usually the little things people do in life that makes the biggest difference and most of the time they never know.
